Vitality is the power giving continuance of life, exuberant physical strength or mental vigor. We envision a world of vitality—a vibrant earth that in turn enables us to live with vigor.
As a long-distance mountain runner coming from a background in biology and genetics, I am in awe of nature’s beautifully balanced and complex systems. I am convicted that tech and solutions tapping into nature’s intelligence will be energy-efficient, cost effective, and resilient…. driving health for planet and people and generating returns for investors.
We use a bioimimicry lens to identify early-stage startups and creating tech and solutions inspired by the way nature works.
Why Now?
We are at a pivotal moment. Half of the world’s GDP—$44 trillion—is directly dependent on nature, yet we continue to erode the very systems that sustain it.
This is a unique moment in time to combine the best of modern technology and nature's intelligence to create solutions that are highly profitable over the next decade and beyond.
We will increasingly need real solutions for human NEEDS over the next decade in key sectors representing a $4.5T market projected to grow to $9.2T by 2030.
